Common questions.
How long does a stocktake take?
Plan on roughly two items a minute per person once labels are on, and every extra phone you hand out shortens the job proportionally. A 1,000-item storeroom is an afternoon for two people.
Can we use it for the end-of-financial-year stocktake?
Yes. Count everything, apply the numbers, then download the whole inventory as a spreadsheet for your accountant. The activity log records who counted what, and when.
Can several people scan into the same stocktake?
Yes. Anyone on your team joins from their own phone, and the running total updates on every device as scans come in.
What happens to shelves nobody scanned?
They keep the numbers they already had, and show up under 'Not counted', so a missed aisle is obvious rather than quietly wrong.
Can I do partial stocktakes?
Yes. Limit the count to one storeroom, one van, or one aisle, and anything from elsewhere is turned away when scanned.
Do we have to stop picking during the stocktake?
No. Nothing is frozen while a count is open. When you press apply, each item is set to what you counted, so leave your fastest-moving shelves until last.
Can I export the result?
Once you apply it, you can download the whole inventory as a spreadsheet. A count-by-count export is on the roadmap.
