FAQ

Common questions.

Can I import an existing asset register?

Yes. Upload CSV or XLSX. Headers like 'asset id', 'serial', 'location' auto-map. Anything else is ignored or maps to custom fields by name.

What custom field types do you support?

Text, number, date, dropdown (with your own options), and checkbox. Unlimited per workspace.

Is there a check-out / check-in workflow?

Not yet as a dedicated flow. 'Assigned to' as a custom field covers most cases. Dedicated due-back dates are on the roadmap.

Can I track maintenance?

Add a 'Next service date' date field. Filtering by date works; auto-reminders are on the roadmap.

Is there an audit log?

Per-item we track who last updated and when. Workspace-wide activity log is on the roadmap.

Can teams see different assets?

Workspace is the unit of permission today. Everyone sees everything. Multi-team scope is a future enhancement.
