Common questions.

Can I import an existing asset register?

Yes. Upload CSV or XLSX. Headers like 'asset id', 'serial', 'location' auto-map. Anything else is ignored or maps to custom fields by name.

What custom field types do you support?

Text, number, date, dropdown (with your own options), and checkbox. Unlimited per workspace.

Is there a check-out / check-in workflow?

Yes. Check an asset out to a named borrower with an optional due-back date, then check it back in. The Checked out page lists everything currently out, grouped by borrower, and flags anything past its due date.

Can I track maintenance?

Yes. Add a service schedule to any asset with a due date, and set it to repeat every so many days for recurring work like an annual inspection. Anything overdue or due in the next two weeks shows on your dashboard, and admins get a daily reminder email. Every completed job is kept as a permanent service history, on every plan including the free one.

Is there an audit log?

Yes. Every asset has its own activity history, and the workspace activity log shows every change across all assets: quantity, location, folder, price, check-outs and check-ins, with who did it and when. How far back you can look depends on your plan.

Can teams see different assets?

Workspace is the unit of permission today. Everyone sees everything. Multi-team scope is a future enhancement.
